I just most recently discovered that some women are offended by the title "Mrs." even if they're married. Why?

maybe because they don't want to be lumped in with there hubby? or maybe they want to feel independent & not tied 2 a man. I don't Need my husband of 3 months (or any other man) I love having him but if he was 2 leave I'd go on living yes? and also u cant tell if mr ______ is married or not so why do us woman need a title of Mrs or Miss? that why I think many woman wanna be Ms????
