Is french language really more "germanized" than Italian and Spanish?

I thought it was much more germanized, but a linguist friend said to me it was just a common misconception. He also noticed that Iberian peninsula and Italy recieved as much germanic tribe invasion at the fall of Roman empire, and so these languages had also some germanic influences; is it true?
