Is this enough working out to get into shape. Effective routine to loose weight and gain muscle?

is it enough to work out 3 times a week for 2 hours each day? i was planing to go to the gym and do sum jogging and cardio work outs for an hour to burn some fat and lifting weights for another hour. is this enough to get into shape? the other days that i am not gonna work out it is because i am going to be at work and I am a gardener which involves alot of walking. is this an effective routine to loose the gut and gain some muscle?
