Sounds like a bunch of current day Brits or Americans infiltrated th Bible circa year 1 CE or so. Yea translate. But leave the names alone. I mean it's practically like calling Jesus, Joe or Reginald. I have Bibles in English, Latin, German, Russian. In Russian it is Buriat, German Genuss, Yep! Jesus is Jesus in Latin. Want to go with the name used by his executioners or his proper Aramaic or Hebrew name?
