For history I have a choice between two exam questions. Could anyone help me think of ideas for it?
1) For the first time in American history an African American is positioned to compete for one of the most powerful political offices on this planet. Party politics aside, this is an important moment in American history. What does the plight of African Americans from Reconstruction to the Harlem Renaissance indicate about the history of this country and our meaning of freedom? Be sure to include examples for your specific arguments. Some things to ponder; major events, leadership, economics, Jim Crow segregation, culture, law, violence, freedom, etc.
