How to look after my Husky/Irish Wolfhound cross?

Letting him run around in the back yard or walking him is not going to hurt him. The thing with Irish wolfhounds is they will run and run and run, until they are completely exausted or have a heat stroke. I would not let him run around or walk for more than one hour at a time. If you let him outside, only leave him out for about an hour or less. If you are going to walk him, and hour long very brisk walk or run will not hurt him. He is the same as other dogs, but does not show tiredness. No other special needs. The main thing with husky mixes is to make sure they do not take the role of the alpha. You are the alpha. When walking, if he starts to pull, grab him by the nape of his neck and pull. That is what a mother dog or alpha would do to discipline them.
