Liberals, Why Should I Want My Taxes Raised to Help the Poor?

hey I don't want a welfare state, but I also don't want WWIII. How about low taxes AND low spending? Isn't that what republicans used to be about? I hope you casted your vote for Ron Paul otherwise you voted for a liberal-republican that wants low taxes with increased spending and reduced personal liberties. have a great day!
