Where can I get a GHD straightener for a decent price?

I live in Alberta but I'm going to Ontario soon, from there we're going to drive to Buffalo, NY. I want to buy a GHD straightener from NY but I don't want to pay like, 250 canadian dollars for it. So my question is, are GHDs sold at department stores like Macy's and JC Penney for cheaper than retail price? are they fakes?
