Do you have to be put asleep for laser sinus surgery?

I had this done to me. I had polyps in my nasal septum and they had to remove mine too. They will put you to sleep. If they are going to cut anything than they will put you to sleep. For the pain, it didn't hurt too bad. For me, the worst part was having to flush out my sinuses by salt water up my nose. It felt like when you get water up your nose when swimming. Besides that, it wasn't bad.
