Hot flash/sensitive skin/acne flare up...help?

Okay. Recently (past few months) i have been getting these "flare ups", and they are kind of like a hot flash just in the facial area, thats how it feels to me. like i could just be walking and i stop, and my face gets all hot, itchy, sweaty, and i could be in a freezing cold room. I havent been using any different products. They dont happen often. But i get them like for a week and then they go away and come back, and then the next week after them my skin begins to clear up. But when i have the flashes my face breaks out, and i get wierd acne. I use cetaphil to wash my face, and epiduo as a topical cream. On weekends when i dont have to wake up early in the morning i notice my face is more clear. I just am asking for any advice, or solution. Ive heard it all when it comes to acne, and i take lots of precautions, i just dont know how to fix this problem. ANY help is appreciated, thanks
