Mowtown or Northern soul song with Na Na Na Na lyrics?

I head this song in a pub on Saturday night, Disraeli's.in Worksop. The DJ played it back to back with ‘Do You Love Me’ by the Contours. It’s of that era, by a male singer or group. It’s of a reasonably fast tempo sounds like a great party type record. I think it will be either Motown or Northern Soul but I have no idea who it’s by or what it’s called. I don’t think the Na Na Na Na bit is a chorus, it’s more like a vocal break toward the middle or end of the song. All I can remember is the Na Na Na Na bit. I think there are 12 Na’s but I can’t be sure, it was getting late and I’d had a few.
