As a Muslim, do you think it is harder for you to get a job than for a non muslim?

I know that there are a lot of misconceptions by a majority of society regarding Islam. I am a new Muslim and I am also a History Major who hopes to work in museums, do archive work, research, some teaching and eventually archaeology. Should I be worried about being hired for the types of positions I want because I am a muslim, and I wear a hijab?
